Hel-lo my fellow Martha’s in Christ.
I have but a humble testimony.
Grew up in a Christian home by two parents who came to Christ later in life. I know what your thinking – years of experience – countless Sunday school hours, verses quotable from the tip of the tongue and the top of my head. Filled with the grace of the saints and the blush of a Proverbs 31 woman. May I counter with…no. I am merely a woman, sticking her nose where it belongs – her bible.
I should warn you…there will be humor, there will be sarcasm. What can I say…God’s grace has shone upon me.
why you should listen to me…
First of all, I have a son, his name is Rufus (my dog) and Romans 16:13 tells you that you should salute me because I am his mother.
And second of all…you shouldn’t listen to me. I don’t want you to listen to me, I want us to listen to God; to learn His word and grow in His wisdom.
My want and intent is to develop an Iron Community. Despite my intense introversion, the Lord is consistent and insistent on community. Therefore, I would love to develop, discuss, grow, encourage, engage, challenge all aspects of a faithful and committed life to Him through His word.
All verses will be quoted in either KJV or ESV and the reason being… copyright. But it is still the Word of God.
